Author Talk with Marc-Anthony Arena, 'How to Protect Yourself from Your Computer'

Tuesday, December 106:30—7:30 PMLarge Meeting RoomJohn Curtis Free Library534 Hanover Street, Hanover, MA, 02339

Are you frustrated with your computer? Bombarded by error messages? Did your uncle's neighbor's cat's cousin come over and install pirated software? Is your computer dreadfully slow?  Join author Marc-Anthony Arena as he discusses his book, How to Protect Yourself from Your Computer.

Marc-Anthony Arena has worked in the IT industry since 2000. In 2009, he began offering in-home tech support for seniors, as a way to help people and put a roof over his head.  He soon realized the world is full of intelligent, successful people who are just overwhelmed by technology. They suffer at the hands of incompetent computer guys, pushy big box stores, and phone scammers. So he developed a method to simplify and bulletproof people's digital lives, rather than milking them for recurring fees. Apparently people enjoy saving tons of time and money.

So he wrote a book (How to Protect Yourself from Your Computer), hosts The Computer Exorcist Podcast, and gives public talks, in order to explain tech concepts, online scams, and industry scandals, all in Plain English!
